THE SCPSW AUTHOR  is published quarterly. Contributions are welcome from members. Short stories, articles, reviews, poetry and illustrations are possible –  all entries are welcome.

Guidelines

Send as email attachments to the editor.

Prose should be between 300 and 1,600 words. 

Poetry should be between 12 and 15 lines or 75 – 300 words.

Very short forms (haiku, couplets, etc.) must be submitted as a collection reaching the line minimum.
A maximum of 1600 words.

Send as many as you like. The editor will use all suitable ones over several issues.

Electronic format is required. The editor can deal with any format ranging from a word processor output to a simple text file. Handwritten pieces cannot be used.

Material should not have been previously published.

If you would like to do a regular feature, please contact the editor.

PHOTOS AND ARTWORK

The editor invites members to send in photographs or a piece of art for which they own the copyright.  Some of these may be used on the front and back covers as well as within Author as appropriate. You will be acknowledged.

Letters to the editor

Letters to the editor are welcome. Feel free to express your opinion on the quality of the magazine or on any changes to Author you would like to see in the future.

From the winter issue of 2024, the PDF version of the printed magazine is distributed to all members with an email address.
